This post was specifically designed to hold all the video instructions of the Danny Dinosaur Kid Embroidery Kit. It includes a set up video, a full stitch tutorial, and a video for finishing your hoop. If you do not have a Danny Dinosaur kit, you can get one here. Printed instructions for the kit are included with the physical kit.
The welcome embroidery video goes over all your supplies and where to find certain types of information, like step by step instructions for each stitch. It also covers how to split floss strands, and how to get your fabric in your hoop the right way. This video, along with the others, has heading included so you can see what we are talking about and when we change to a new topic.
For this video, I filmed myself stitching the entire hoop. I walk you through each stitch step by step. We talk about which stitches go where, and what floss color to use for each line. I provide helpful hits along with suggestions for different stitches at the tricky parts. Again, this video was made with headings so you can know what color of floss I am using and what stitch I am doing.
This quick video goes over the steps for finishing your hoop after you are done stitching. Though there is no wrong way to display an embroidery, I have found that the simplest and most effective way to display a hoop is in its hoop. Walk through each step with me as I finish my hoop.
