Here’s the story. When I first made the Kings hoop, I was looking for anything and everything that would make the hoop stand out. This meant that I used as many textures as possible. I wanted the Kings hoop to feel like they had money, like they were important. The contrast of their richness makes the manger scene that much sweeter. In this quest, I came up with an over complicated weave of the third King. After stitching it a few times and filming a tutorial for it, I realized that I probably went over board. Consequently, when I decided to make a full tutorial for the hoop, it was time to adjust the weave.
With all that said, there are now two version of the pattern. One has a more complicated weave and one has a simpler weave. This post has both those weaves and their instructions in it. This way, you get to decide which weave you want to us.
